Mountain Cats Full Day Snowboard (Ages 3-13)

The Mountain Cats program is available on weekends and holidays. Full Day 9:00 -3:30 children ages 3-13 who are fully potty trained. Please see the full description for more information about this product for more important information!

Due to the nature of this product it is the responsibility of the parent to notify us if their child has any allergies.

Important: Please book this in your child's name, you can do so by clicking the "+" button near the "Party Member" box.

 

Full day lift tickets are included in the price of the sessions, but rental equipment must be purchased separately. Please select the appropriate ability level for your child.  Arrive with your child dressed and ready to go outside.

 

Note: Due to the nature of this product it is the responsibility of the parent to notify us if their child has:

 

Any dietary/allergy information (i.e. - gluten free, allergic to nuts, etc.)

 

Anything that may affect the way the lesson goes (medical/emotional)

(i.e. - diabetic, ADHD, etc.)

How we can best reach who will be on the mountain during the child’s lesson.

Please let us know what your child's ability level is:

Snowboard Levels:

Red: has never ridden before 

 

Orange: has ridden once or twice, has not mastered J turns, can glide, gliding stop, turn one way

 

Yellow: has mastered J, is learning C turns and is beginning to link C turns into S turns to control speed on the Bunny Hill. 

 

Green: can turn and stop in linking S turns down the Bunny Hill successfully, controls speed by turn shape. Can ride all green terrain. 

THIS IS THE FIRST LEVEL TO GO UP THE CHAIR

IF THE CHILD CAN ONLY RIDE TERRAIN IN FALLING LEAF, WE WILL NOT BRING THEM UP THE CHAIR UNTIL THEY CAN LINK TURNS

 

Blue: can turn and stop in linking S turns on all green terrain, smaller S turns, into skidded S turns. Can ride all green and easy blue terrain

 

Purple: can turn and stop on all green and blue terrain.  Can ride the chairlift independently. Can ride all green and blue terrain confidently in dynamic skidded S turns. Is beginning to carve.



*We cannot guarantee that children will be placed together, this is for the safety of all the children in the group including their own 

The child’s(ren’s) ability will be assessed at the beginning of the lesson and they will be placed in a group by the ability shown.

Turns should be completely matched throughout the turn (open or closed track parallel) using the turn to control speed, no longer using a wedge. Can ski all green and blue terrain confidently, beginning to navigate some black terrain.
